Civil War Militia Soldier 2nd Massachusetts 1860s Antique Tinted Tintype Photo taxidermy Matriculated to VMI from Allen'sOriginal tintype, studio imprint (upside down) is A. E. Alden's of Springfield, Massachusetts. Tintype is in excellent condition with no bends. The mount is 4" x 2 3 8", so the sides are slightly trimmed, but pretty evenly done, and the trimming does not touch the tintype.
